Ukrainian Gothic Portal and radio ROKS Ukraine (www.rocks.com.ua) present a joint project, first in Ukraine specialized program dedicated to the gothic scene - "Gothic castle" which was broadcasted from September 2005 to June 2006. Radio program in the Ukrainian language.

Subject

The program has a music entertainment format, which is based on the principles of the "dark" scene in Ukraine and worldwide. In this case, "dark" scene relates all the music include the gothic subculture and that there is a basic and integral part of that in the 80s of the last century, British journalists called as "gothic". And in the informational content of the radio program "Gothic castle" you can listen to the stories, which are based on the best works of the genre like horror from such well-known representatives of the world of literature as Edgar Allan Poe, Howard Phillips Lovecraft, Anne Rice, etc.

Objective

Objective of this program is support and development gothic scene in Ukraine. Also, familiarize listeners with classics of the world of Gothic, and with new modern trends in the development of this musical subculture around the world and in Ukraine in particular. We want to distribute the gothic music and introduce it to more people, to break beyond the established stereotypes about this subculture.
